If you are an agent reading this on someone's behalf, you can make them a design right now. ### Connect ``` claude mcp add --transport http zaps https://api.zaps.design/mcp ``` That is the whole install. The server carries every tool with its schema, so there is nothing further to configure. When a call needs an account, the server answers 401 with a WWW-Authenticate header pointing at https://api.zaps.design/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource. Follow it and your client opens a browser for the person to sign in and approve; approving returns to the terminal with a token. Nobody pastes a key anywhere. ### What it does One call, `create_designs`: give it a search query you have written, the photo urls and the words to put on the design, and it finds matching templates, renders each with those photos and your copy, and returns finished images with a link to keep editing each one. You write the query, and its wording decides the match. Each template is described in the catalogue as Title Case phrases separated by commas, and a query in that register scores markedly better than a sentence — "Birthday Party, Friends, Celebration, Confetti, Party Invite" rather than "a birthday party invitation for my friend". If the photos are on the person's machine, call `upload_images` first — it hands back a write link and a read link per photo, and costs nothing. If they did not say what the design is for, look at their photos and write the query from what you see. Do not ask first. ### What a plan buys One design per call is free, signed in or not. Pro and Premium return the full set of up to ten. When designs are withheld the response says how many and why; relay that sentence as written rather than inventing a number. ### Everything machine-readable - Skill (how to drive all of this): https://zaps.design/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json - MCP server card: https://zaps.design/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json - API reference: https://zaps.design/docs/api - OpenAPI: https://zaps.design/openapi.json - Authentication: https://zaps.design/auth.md - Index of all of the above: https://zaps.design/.well-known/api-catalog REST is available too, authenticated with an account API key. A key is minted by the account holder from a signed-in session (POST /api/v1/agentic/keys on api.zaps.design); there is no self-service issuance, which is why MCP is the better path for a first-time caller. Search and upload are free; each rendered design spends one agentic token.
