Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Last updated: 12 August 2026
Purchases made on the Zaps website are sold by Paddle, our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Which Paddle entity you contract with depends on where you are — Paddle.com Inc. in the United States, Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd in Canada, and Paddle.com Market Ltd elsewhere — as set out in the Paddle Buyer Terms.
Sections 1 to 9 below set out the refund terms for those purchases and match the Paddle Refund Policy. Purchases made inside the Zaps app are covered by section 10.
1. Refunds in general
Unless the law that applies to you requires it, all transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
A refund may still be issued on a discretionary basis (section 6), or where you exercise a statutory withdrawal or cancellation right (section 2), or in the circumstances described in sections 4 and 5.
Refunds are not issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse or other manipulative behaviour.
2. Your statutory withdrawal and cancellation rights
Depending on where you live, consumer law may give you a right to withdraw from or cancel your purchase. Where it does, that right stands regardless of anything else in this policy.
- EU, EEA, Switzerland and the UK — a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from some digital content and service contracts. This covers one-off purchases and the first payment on a subscription. Later renewal payments are not covered, except that annual UK subscriptions get a fresh 14-day period on each renewal. It does not apply to digital content you have already downloaded or streamed after expressly consenting and acknowledging that you lose the right to withdraw.
- Turkey and Israel — a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from some digital content and service contracts.
- South Korea, Brazil, Canada and China — a 7-day right to cancel a digital content or service contract after delivery.
- Singapore — a 5-day right to cancel digital content or services after delivery or first access.
Each period runs from your transaction date, and your request needs to reach us or Paddle inside it.
3. How to request a refund
You can request a refund in any of these ways:
- Use the View receipt or Manage subscription link in your order confirmation email.
- Go to paddle.net, look up your purchase and choose Request refund.
- Email support@zaps.gg with the email address on your Zaps account, the date and amount of the charge, the receipt reference if you have it, and why you are asking.
If you email us, we aim to reply within 3 business days and will tell you either way.
4. If a technical problem stops you using what you paid for
If a material technical or product defect prevents you accessing the paid features, tell us and we will fix it. Where we cannot fix it, you will be refunded.
5. If we withdraw a paid feature
If we stop offering a paid feature part-way through a billing period you have already paid for, we will either provide something materially similar or refund the unused part of what you paid, as set out in our Terms of Use.
6. Discretionary refunds
A refund may be issued at our sole discretion if the request is submitted within 14 days of your transaction date.
Submitting a request within that 14-day period does not guarantee a refund. Each request is considered on its own facts, including the type of product, the reason for the request and the extent to which the product has been used. A request may be approved in full, approved in part, or declined.
7. How long a refund takes
Refunds are issued using the same payment method wherever possible, and within 14 days of the request being approved.
How quickly the credit then appears on your statement is controlled by your bank or card issuer rather than by us. You will get email confirmation once the refund has been issued, so you have a record of the date.
8. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you do not recognise a charge, contact us or Paddle first — it is almost always faster than raising a dispute with your bank. If you do raise a chargeback, access to paid features may be suspended while the dispute is resolved.
9. Cancelling your subscription
If you subscribed through our website, you can cancel at any time in your account settings, or through the Manage subscription link in your order confirmation email. Cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then.
Cancelling does not delete your account or your work — see our Privacy Policy for how deletion works.
10. Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play
Sections 1 to 9 cover purchases made on our website. If you subscribed inside the Zaps app instead, Apple or Google took the payment and is the seller for that purchase, so their own refund process applies rather than this policy.
Request a refund from Apple or Google directly, and cancel through your App Store or Play Store subscription settings. If you get stuck with either of them, email support@zaps.gg and we will do what we can to help.
11. Delivery
Zaps is a digital service. There is nothing to ship and nothing to return. When your payment is confirmed, the paid features are enabled on your account immediately. If they are not, section 4 applies.
12. Prices, currency and taxes
The price, the currency and any taxes that apply are shown at checkout before you pay, and your receipt records what you were charged. Prices may differ between countries.
13. Questions or a complaint
For anything about a charge, a refund or a cancellation, email support@zaps.gg.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can escalate to our Grievance Officer at support@zaps.gg. We respond to grievances within one month.
